![]() ![]() We stayed one night in Lock Haven while traveling. I told her I will never eat there again and she did't seem to care. aparently if was my fault two steaks were bad. ![]() I asked for better discount off the bill and was told they sent two steaks from the kitchen and they served them all week so theymuct be ok. The manager cut one small tip off the steak and declaired it was fine. I had cut six slices thru the second steak, all hard to cut. I ate four bites of the first steak, spit three bites out, I ate none of the second. The second steak was the same as the first only it was cooked medium rare, but was tough and had many tendions throughout. When the waitress said they would make me another one I said ok. the steak was riddled throughout with tendons and it was tough. Yesterday my wife and I stopped here for dinner and I ordered a Black Diamond steak, medium rare. Having had dinner here for many years with my wife and friends I can no longer reccomend this resturant. This was our first introduction to the restaurant and it just soured our otherwise good experience. They made a lot of money off their customers, by doing this.Ĥ. They said there is no way of reading the old cards to find out how much is on the card. Wow, since I didn't look at their Facebook page, looking for this, I am out of luck. The old gift cards will no longer be accepted as of Sept 30th" (25 day notice, IF you saw this posting). Looking back on their posts, I did find a small post on Sept 5th (I didn't find any other post on this): "We have gotten a new POS system. I was told by the waitress that they had posted it on their Facebook page. And we're out the money that we did not plan to spend, with no compensation. The manager should have come out to take care of the problem. The poor young waitress had to go and come a few times to answer our questions.Ģ. I have never heard of any establishment refusing to take the gift card from their store/restaurant.ġ. She came back and said no, because they can't tell if we've used it or not. I asked if I could get it reimbursed and that I have the receipt. She came back and said that they no longer accept this gift card because they changed their POS system. When it came to paying the bill we gave her our gift card. Sat 4-8p, Sun 9-2) The food was good and the kind young waitress did her best. The hours are very limited and we finally got there tonight.
